Antagonist Art Movement at Niagra,
112 Avenue A @ 7th Street. This is a one night show and it will be going on from 9pm to 2am in the downstairs gallery space of Niagra.
Also, on October 11th, Kristen Rhea van Liew and I (aka The Minsky Sisters) will be

Video footage is up from my performance at English Kills
Gallery on 08.17. Footage from the performance at Fishy Pond gallery will be up soonish.
In other news, I will be go-go dancing at the
New York Burlesque Festival on Friday, September 19th. Also performing that night is my friend and fabulous burlesque songstress
Dulce De Leche. The line-up this year is really fantastic, so don't miss out!
AND on Sunday Sept. 21, I will be photographing at the NYC Wizard Rock Festival.
I will be doing a Polaroid photobooth similar to Dances of Vice. This is the last one of its kind that I will ever be doing. Ever. Sadly, Polaroid film is
dwindling away.

08.07.08
I probably should mention that I am participating in a show that opens August 16th. The show is Brooklyn performance
artists series at English Kills Gallery that runs until Sept. 7th. Documentation from past performances will be on display
as well as several live performances every weekend for the duration of the show. I will be performing Sunday Aug. 17th at 6pm. All the information
can be found HERE.
Also, the Dances of Vice festival is this month on August 22, 23, and 24.
This will be the last time ever at DOV that Don and I will be running our Polaroid photo booth. Come get it while you can!

06.24.08
Updated the polaroid wall finally. I'm also going to be adding a section pack film
sometime in the next couple of days.
|
06.19.08
Added some new 4x5 polaroids. Will be updating the polaroid
wall soon as I have been hoarding away a couple of months of polaroids that I've been slacking on adding.
More updates soon!
Also, I will be tap dancing with Kristen Rhea van Liew July 5th at Dances of Vice.
Check out the website for all the information. I don't think I will be touching the photo booth this month, but I think Don Spiro
will be! Hope to see you there!

04.28.08
New 4x5 polaroids up. I also added a couple new things to the photos section.
Thank you to everyone that came out to DOV Saturday night!
|
04.23.08
Dances of Vice is this Saturday at the Montauk Club in Park Slope.
I will be taking photos, of course. Visit the website for all the info!
DOV was also written up in the NY Times this month - of course I was the last to know about
the massive picture of me in the paper. Check it out.
|
03.06.08
Added a few more 4x5 Polaroids, including some older ones
from the summer and this fall that I was able to scrounge up and scan. There are also a few added that I took during
Guy Richards Smit's video shoot this past Monday, including my charred corpse that I've been slaving away at for months!
Dances of Vice is Saturday, kids!

02.20.08
FINALLY updated the polaroid wall!
And dont' forget Dances of Vice this Friday, Feb. 22nd!
|
02.14.08
Added some 4x5 polaroids to the site tonight while I was at job #3.
These are just a few photos that I was able to find on my laptop. I will have to dig through my harddrive and photo box to find more -
but that's a job for another day.
Also, Dances of Vice is coming up again on Friday Feb. 22nd. I will be there taking photos, of course. I hope to see some of your lovely faces there.

02.13.08
Slight update. I decided it was worth while to make a section on the site just for polaroids.
I have been taking a lot of black and white 4x5 polaroids at Dances of VIce
for the past few months, not to mention a bunch of color 4x5s over the summer. Since the news of Polaroid stopping production of
instant film come 2009, I thought it was more important than ever to document everything that I've done with the film.
The 4x5 section isn't really put together yet, but I will do that soon. I am so close to finishing Guy's corpse! As soon as that
is done (this weekend hopefully) I will have loads to add to the site.
And just a note: If I have taken a picture of you at any Dances of Vice events and have the ability to scan the polaroid, I would love it if you would email me a copy for my archives.
I'm slowly trying to collect images by creeping around livejournal/facebook/myspace profiles. Thanks!

01.23.08
I have a ton of new polaroids to upload, but I am struggling with finding free time right now.
I just finished working on prosthetics for the lovely Miss Pookie Patootie
and Jezebel Express for the Creepshow Peepshow in San Francisco.
Now I am currently working on a charred corps for Mr. Guy Richards Smit. AND, let's not forget about Dances of Vice
this Friday at the Pussycat Lounge! I will also be photographing DOV's 2 day festival with Rasputina on Feb. 8th and 9th. Check out the site for more details!
So yeah, I've been keeping myself busy. There will be updates to the site...eventually.
|
12.18.07
Another update to the polaroid wall! This will proably be the last update until the new year.
I'm going to be busy being fat and happy in Boston to update anything. Expect lots of new photos in 2008.
Happy holidays everyone!
|
12.05.07
The polaroid wall has been updated again. I also bought two new polaroid cameras today.
Good god, I'm excited. These were birthday presents to myself (which is on the 7th, so wish me a
happy birthday!).
|
11.21.07
Once again, thank you to everyone that came out to Dances of Vice.
If you couldn't make it, I suggest checking out the Stumblebum
Brass Band. They were absolutely phenominal. I cannot stress that enough.
And the polaroid wall has been updated!
Happy Turkey Day everyone.
|
11.12.07
I fixed the polaroid wall, but still have more photos to upload, that I will get around to eventually.
I've been too busy not sleeping and sculpting miscellaneous body parts. But, I will be photographing
Dances of Vice again with Don Spiro,
this Saturday 10pm at the Pussycat Lounge. Chances are I will still be sleepless and out of my mind, but I would
love to see some shining smiles on our paper moon. Click on Dances of Vice for more information!
|
11.02.07
I updated the polaroid wall, finally. Some of the images
don't work because it's 2:26am and I just don't have it in me to wait for my slow computer to
struggle it's way through editing the last of those images. That's for another day. I'm sure some of the links
are screwed up too. I am just impressed that I am still functioning enough to type right now. October has been a
long month. Bring on November.
|
10.24.07
The polaroid wall still hasn't been updated. Whoops.
Thank you to everyone that came out to Dances of Vice on Saturday!
Taking 4x5 polaroids is a lot of fun. Here's a new polaroid to your left of Don and I being classy on our paper moon at Dances of Vice.
|
10.16.07
I have lots of new polaroids added to the polaroid wall, but I just don't have the
patience to update that page currently. I have been a crazy crazy busy lady.
In the meantime, come see me at Ms. Shien Lee's Dances of Vice
this Saturday at the Pussycat Lounge. I will be running a vintage paper moon photo booth
with the ever so wonderful Don Spiro. Shien thinks I'm
sassy. That has to be worth something.
|
10.02.07
New photo up in the photo section and an old one taken down.
Thommy Prin you are something special.
|
09.02.07
The polaroid wall is growing! I have a new large print that
I will be adding to the photo page soon. And who knows, maybe one of these
days content will be added to the video section (cross your fingers).
|
07.28.07
Some of the polaroids are up in the photo section.
Eventually I will get around to scanning and posting the 4x5 polaroids I took with the Toyo-View I borrowed from my
work. Anyone that wants to buy me that
camera, please feel free.
|
07.23.07
I just got back to New York last night after spending 10 days in various parts of Southern California.
I spent some time with my sister and brother-in-law, Thommy Prin,
Ron Athey, and some others with my travel partner Matt Jones.
I, of course, took a lot of photos, mostly in various forms of polaroids. I am slowly beginning the process of scanning
them in now, so expect updates soon. For now enjoy the one to your left. Obviously I had to go to Disneyland (on Thommy's dollar).
We couldn't find Snow White. We were upset.

07.10.07
Another evening at work - more updates to the site.
I started to tap the archives and uploaded some of Lissa's video footage from
Humble House. The camera work isn't that stellar (sorry Lissa) and I was being fairly lazy with my editing,
but it gives you a better sense of the space. I also whipped out a really simple layout of the space and added it to the main
Humble House page. All of the footage from the camera that was mounted in the string room managed to get corrupted on my
hard drive so I need to scrounge my room for the DV tapes and MAYBE eventually get that jazz uploaded.
Can I also say one thing? Today when I was walking to the train I saw a man walking a goat on a leash. Someone in the middle of
BUSHWICK, of all places, owns a GOAT. A freaking goat. I don't even know what more I could say about that.
|
07.05.07
I added some new-old Humble House photos.
I just got another nerd job where I sit around and do nothing for hours, so expect this site to be updated
with all sorts of stuff soon. I still have loads of videos that have yet to be sorted out - who knows maybe
that will finally get done.
I am also moving tomorrow. As soon as I find wherever my camera and film got
packed away to I will have new photos, as well. Yeahyeahyeah.
|
06.29.07
I posted a few photos documenting the Nightly Remnants project.
The project is currently on hold until I move out of my lovely Avenue D shithole. I just cannot keep up with
the baggies of junk constantly accumulating. I will continue with this when I move to my cave in Bushwick in two
weeks. I plan on working on this til the end of 2007.
|
06.11.07
I am finally getting around to doing some more maintenance to the site. I just added two
video clips from the event Asterisk Presents: Maxi Geil! & Playcolt.
What a long way our costumes and choreography have come!
Hopefully I will get other updates up soon. I'm still having trouble recovering video footage as most of it was damaged
or stolen. Hoorah.
|
05.08.07
I graduated! Galleries come and get me! Har har.
But, uh yeah. I've cleaned up the site a bit. I added a new performance, Workout!,
which is probably one of the more embarrassing things I've done in my life (okay, maybe not).
Going to add more footage for Humble House in the near future, as well as some more photos to older performances.
|
04.19.07
The section for Humble House has been put up.
There's still loads of footage that needs to be rendered and uploaded, as well as putting up a general
layout of the space, but there are some videos and photos up for right now.
New photos and new performances added as well.
|
04.10.07 The show "Humble House" just opened on April 4th, featuring the four lovely people
named in the picture to your left. The house was a collaborative installation that worked
on pushing people's boundaries and incorporating the audience into the artwork.
My life is just starting to settle down from last week, so I will be revamping the entire website
shortly with images, videos and the press release from the show as well as new performances and
photographs.
